About

The Northwestern University Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies (REEES) Research Program brings together faculty and students bound by a shared interest in the vast region between Prague and Vladivostok. The program supports research, teaching, and outreach by organizing speaker series, workshops, and conferences and featuring NU faculty and graduate student scholarship, exhibits, and art. Founded with the goal of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and dialogue, REEES is proud to bring together faculty and students from Anthropology, Art History, History, International Studies, Journalism, Political Science, Managerial Economics, Musicology, Slavic Languages and Literature, Sociology, and Theatre. If you would like to learn more about or join the REEES community, please contact Faculty Director Jordan Gans-Morse or other members of the steering committee.
