The Northwestern University Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies (REEES) Research Program brings together faculty and students bound by a shared interest in the vast region between Prague and Vladivostok.

Through colloquia and invited lecturers, REEES encourages a new, 21st-century perspective on the field that is strongly interdisciplinary while acknowledging its roots in an active understanding of the past.
